Common uses:

Therapeutic actions: To support healthy intestinal flora. Aids in the maintenance of healthy immune function in children. If your child has been taking a course of antibiotics, a probiotic such as Inner Health for Kids may assist in maintaining the balance of good bacteria. Bifidobacteria is lower in infants born via caesarean section compared to infants born vaginally. Bifidobacteria may be helpful in reducing the severity and incidence of diarrhoea in formula fed infants and children. We also use Inner Health for Kids with children who have constipation, reflux, thrush and skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis.

Directions for use:
Mix the following into juice, milk or water or take directly off the spoon, or as directed by a healthcare professional. 1 to 2 years old: 1/3 (1.7g) of a 5.0 mL metric teaspoon once daily, taken before a meal. 2 to 5 years old: 1/3 (1.7g) metric teaspoon twice daily, taken before meals. 5 to 12 years old: 1/3 to 1/2 (2.5g) of a metric teaspoon twice daily, taken before meals.

Each 1.7g (1/3 metric teaspoon) dose contains: 1.75 billion Lactobacillus Acidophilus (NCFM) organisms, 1.75 billion Bifidobacterium Lactis Organisms, 100 mg Glutamine, 13.7 mg Zinc Sulfate monohydrate, equivalent elemental zinc 5mg. Free from wheat, eggs, yeast and artificial flavours, colours and sweeteners.
